Custom Wedding Suit Process

How the Process Works

Our custom wedding suit process is designed to feel thoughtful, collaborative, and calm. You never need to arrive knowing exactly what you want as we guide each step with care, clarity, and your vision in mind.

Wedding suits are created through a three-step process. Consultations may be done in person or virtually. We recommend all other appointments are completed in person to ensure the best possible fit and experience.

We require a minimum of three months before your wedding date to complete the process.

Step 1: Consultation & Measurements

Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know one another. We’ll talk through your wedding, your style, how you want to feel in your suit, and any questions you may have about fit, design, or timeline.

Consultations can be done in person or virtually. Virtual consultations are ideal for clients who are out of town.

If you’re ready to move forward, measurements are taken at this appointment to begin creating your mock suit. Virtual clients will be asked to take their own measurements with video guidance. All future appointments are completed in person to ensure accuracy and comfort.

Typical timing:
Approximately 3 months before your wedding
(Earlier consultations are always welcome.)

Step 2: Customization & Styling

This appointment is where your suit truly begins to take shape.

You’ll finalize your fabric selection and design details and try on your mock suit. The mock suit allows you to experience the overall fit, silhouette, and movement before your final garment is ordered.

We’ll review everything together and make any necessary adjustments to measurements or design details, ensuring the final suit reflects both intention and comfort.

Fabric selection and mock suit fittings are completed in person. We’ve found this step is most successful when clients can see and feel the fabrics.

Typical timing:
Approximately 2 months before your wedding

Step 3: Final Fitting & Alterations

Your finished suit is ready to go home with you at this appointment.

You’ll try everything on, move around, and make sure the suit feels right. This timing allows space for any final tailoring before your wedding day.

This fitting is the final opportunity to note any concerns or adjustments before the suit is taken home. Once the suit leaves our studio, it is considered accepted and any further changes are handled through alterations.

If minor alterations are needed, we’ll connect you with our trusted tailoring partner at a discounted rate.

Typical timing:
Approximately 1 month before your wedding, allowing time for alterations if needed
