First Look: Diving Into The Fashion Trends Dominating Fall 2023

As the summer months are reaching their end, it’s time to focus on the 2023 Fall Fashion Trends. This is the first of a three part series and today’s blog will be focusing on color.

The 2023 Fall Fashion Trends Color of the Season: Vibrant Red!

This is a no holds barred, punch of red. Worn as an accessory, a pop of color, from head to toe and everything in-between this color is sure to get you noticed when you walk into a room.

Red helps the wearer feel bold and confident. Often leaders, speakers, and people in influential positions wear red to send messages of confidence, passion, and power to others. This is your chance to be in style rocking red and letting the fiery energy inside of you come out to play.

2023 Fall Fashion Trends: The Classics

Several of the classics always in style are having a moment this fall.

Crisp Clean White:  This is being seen mostly in button-up shirts. Paired with jeans, suits, slacks, skirts, and almost anything else you can imagine you are going to want to have several well tailored white shirts.

White is associated with simplicity, perfection, clarity, and being refreshing. This color generally makes others around you feel good and hopeful. It’s also a blank slate. If you are wanting a specific color to really pop, wearing a white shirt with a neutral bottom and a pop of color as an accessory will really make it stand out.

Classic Black:  This is being worn as overcoats and in outfits where you are in black from top to bottom. It’s also showing up in leather attire and with a more whimsical romantic feel.

Black is known as a strong color that often gives off a sophisticated vibe to others. It’s tied to power, authority, and elegance. This is another color that is often seen being worn by people in leadership roles. It is also a color that goes with almost everything. Don’t be afraid to do solid blacks with textures and elevated patterns to dress up your outfit.

Smoky Gray: This is a neutral that is being worn from head to toe and as separates. As opposed to a light gray, the shade that is trending has almost a black undertone to it. As such it’s pulling in sophistication and elegance.

Gray is also a very solid color. The emotions it evokes are subtle and are often comfort, relation, and maturity. Combined with the undertones of black, the smoky gray of the season has the power to go far.

Want a fun funky pop of color? Here are a few more Fall Fashion colors in style.

Pink. Channel your inner Barbie through all shades of pink as this color is definitely on point for the fall season. From hot pink to a more muted tone, everyone can find a shade that is the perfect one for their skin tone.

Pink is all the positives. It’s kindness, compassion, love, sympathy, friendliness, joy, and warmth all in one. Pink helps others feel accepted, calmed, and nurtured. This is a color that you want to wear to convey openness and welcoming to others and for the moment, people might also ask you if you liked the Barbie Movie!

Soft Creamy Butter Yellow: Yellow this season is really having a moment in a delicious soft color. It’s the yellow that invokes happiness and cheerfulness without blinding you from several feet away. This is a great accent color or worn as one piece.

Yellow makes others happy, optimistic, cheerful, and energetic. It also has a cognitive component as it motivates people to learn, think, ask questions, and be generally curious. It brings joy like pink and energy like red while being a little less intense).

Olive Oil Green: This is a color that you are either going to like or dislike. It’s not for everyone, but if it’s for you, now is the time! As a green with a strong yellow undertone, you are going to pull from the emotions of both colors.

Green: Green is associated with growth, rejuvenation, balance, and calm. It can also be associated with prosperity and luck. This is a color you can wear to help people feel safe, secure, and more grounded.
